Frédéric Saulou (1989) is a french designer, living and working in Rennes. After studying at LISAA and the Beaux-Arts de Rennes, he works now as a designer, architect and scenographer. Experimentation and research outweigh the work of Saulou, to think of new materials and new uses. He develops a sensitive and poetic approach to forms and materials through movement, touch and relationship to the object.

During DIXJOURS residency, Frederic Saulou worked on a process combining digital machining and handicraft of wood by a technically simplified bending, allowing to build, by material deployment, a resistant structure in order to apply it on different typologies.
